Hi, I’m Lily, and I’m the one behind LilGreen Bags. I may only be 14, but I’ve seen first-hand how much plastic waste ends up in our environment—especially on our beaches. It’s shocking how much rubbish washes up on the shore, and a lot of it comes from things we throw away without thinking.
That’s why I started Lil Green Bags. I wanted to do something real to help businesses and families make a simple change that actually makes a difference. Too much food waste still goes into the wrong bin, wrapped in plastic that will take hundreds of years to break down. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
By using compostable food waste bags and separating food waste properly, businesses and households can turn scraps into something useful—compost that helps the planet, rather than harming it.
My goal is to make it easy for everyone to ditch plastic and switch to greener habits. Whether you run a café, a restaurant, or just want to make your home more eco-friendly, I want to help you do your bit—because small changes really do add up!
